The historic village of Shottery occupies a peaceful setting in the rolling Warwickshire
countryside, just over a mile from the fine market town of Stratford-upon-Avon.
Renowned as the birthplace of Anne Hathaway, this pretty location boasts many black
and white thatched cottages, a popular restaurant and a welcoming inn serving real
ales and delicious food. Shakespeare's Stratford is within easy reach, with its
famous theatre, striking architecture, characterful shops and pubs and lovely, riverside
walks, whilst the medieval castles at nearby Kenilworth and Warwick are not to be
missed. Visit the splendid National Trust house at Charlecote Park with its graceful
gardens, intriguing maze and Capability Brown Deer Park. Alternatively, place a
bet at Warwick Racecourse, or simply explore the many surrounding Cotswold towns
and hamlets this stunning area has to offer.

The new barn provides 3000 square feet of area spread over two floors, car parks for 4-5 cars in the serene surrounding of Shottery, Stratford Upon Avon - birth place of Shakespeare. The UNICORN BARNS has been finished to a high standard with Welford reclaimed bricks, Marley roof tiles, Indian sandstone paving in autumn colours. The kitchen was fitted using Howdens premium range with state of the art appliances befitting such a development. The work tops are of green natural granite. The windows are in hardwood from Magnet's premium range. The bathroom range was supplied and fitted by world famous Heritage Bathrooms and Twyford Bathrooms with their Belmonte Bathroom suite, Dorchester Bathroom suite and Granley Bathroom suites. The tiles chosen for the kitchen and bathroom are Italian Marble for the floor and Porcelanosa range for the wall from Spain.
The Unicorn Barns has been furnished with ethnic furniture from India, Persian rugs imported from the east and internal furnishings by John Lewis.
Towards our committement for using renewable energy resources on the development, solar heating panels connected to the central heating system are being used on the exterior of the Unicorn Barns to augment the heating system along with wood burning stove from the rangemaster series.
